Venice fascinations (Suggestioni Veneziane)

Solo exhibition organized by the Culture Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria and by the Italian Institute of Culture in Sofia

The exhibition was organized by the Culture Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria and by the Italian Institute of Culture in Sofia in the Sredets National Gallery.
This exhibition shows paintings and sculptures in a temporal order to explain not only the actual work but also the process characterized, but characterizing also today, the artist's pictorial and sculptural research.
Paintings with a turquoise background have some contrasting red interventions that represent human warmth and life, these works are exhibited with most recent paintings with a gold coloured backgroud that show the same red interventions, in the hall center are exhibited some sculptures in wich most recent ones have, for the same reason, red interventions.
A section aside is on decoration showing art furnishing and jewels but above all will be also exhibited some photos about interior and exterior decorations as fountains, sundials, frescos and mosaics made by the artist.

The solo exhibition, organized by the Culture Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria and by the Italian Institute of Culture in Sofia, was met with great public and critic approval.
The exhibition was inaugurated on thursday 15th April with the participation of the Italian Institute of Culture in Sofia Director Ezio Peraro, the Bulgarian Culture deputy Minister Ph.D. Todor Chobanov and the Director of the Modern Art National Gallery in Sofia Irina Mutafchieva.
The artist was invited for a friendly meeting by the Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov, he is also a well-know sculptor, in wich he decided to acquire, with the agreement of the Director of the Modern Art National Gallery in Sofia Irina Mutafchieva, the bronze sculpture “la Spirale” in order to exhibit it permanently in the same gallery.
